Memorial Day Weekend

Happy Memorial Day!

We spent Memorial Day at Nana & Pop Hirsch's house with our family. Sydney played and played in the pool with all of her cousins-before the BIG rain shower came and made us move our celebration indoors.

We had hamburgers and hot dogs. Sydney especially loved the Cheetos!

All Aboard!

Today was so much fun! Daddy had the day off from work so we loaded up the car and headed for the Forest Park Mini-Train ride. We invited our neighbor Coy to come along with us. Syd and Coy loved the train (especially the popcorn stop). Next, we went to lunch where vanilla ice cream was the favorite.

Summer is almost here!

Sydney can not get enough time in the water! She loves it! We can't even walk past the pool without her getting upset that she can't get in at that time. Here she is with her best friend Ellie. Of course, swim time could not be complete without pineapple and cherry popsicles!

Mother's Day

Sydney and daddy gave mommy the most wonderful Mother's Day again this year. Actually, it was more of a Mother's Day weekend. I am so fortunate to have you both. Sydney makes me the proudest and happiest mommy in the entire world!

I LOVE my daddy!

Sydney Kate LOVES playing outside each day. When it is time to come inside for dinner she always cries and cries. Here is a picture of an afternoon playing with daddy! Mommy was inside with a student tutoring. I walked outside to call them in for dinner and WOW!!! My little girl was covered from head to toe in dirt and she LOVED IT!!!

2 year check up

Sydney's 2 year checkup was this morning....along with 2 shots. Ouch!

She was such a big girl. All reports are excellent and she is growing like a weed. Sydney weighed 24.8 lbs and even got to stand on the "big kid" scale. She thought she was so big! :)

She was not happy at all about her shots but quickly wiped her tears away when her nurse brought her the large jar of lollipops to choose from. Sydney chose cherry and picked a sticker from the sticker basket. The sticker was not Tinker Bell or The Disney Princess'....no, Sydney chose the DumpTruck sticker! haha

Since her morning started out so rough, I took her to breakfast at Chic-Fil-A. There she insisted on sitting in the booth right next to me....no high chair she insisted! She sat like a big girl and ate her fruit and chicken. I am just so proud of the little lady she is becoming. She played in the play area and then we came home.

She is sleeping soundly now.
